Many of my creations start as rocks/minerals found in the deserts of California and Arizona. After a day of rock hounding, I may have found one or more rocks that can be cut, shaped and polished to give me the cabochon piece to work with.

I also have a love for rare and beautiful gems; namely Canadian Ammolite, American Rainbow and Fire Obsidian, Russian Charoite, Australian Opals and Canadian Labradorite. Each of these has a chatoyance, cat's eye effect or a play of reflecting colours. I find them exceptionally beautiful for that reason.

You will find cabochons that are beaded onto a leather backing. Others will be wire wrapped - using silver, gold, copper and/or bronze wire. Some are made with fused glass. Some come with beaded necklaces. Most ae sold alone so that you can put them with your favourite chain or necklace. I can make matching necklaces by special request.
